1st-8th December 2015: Taiwan Trip Day 2 @ Yilan County, Shilin Night Market...
A good morning filled with good news as I received email that I was accepted to Biz Mgmt, my desired course from SIM and I guess it was purely luck shining on me. I thought I wouldn't make it because of  my horrible GPA. But hey, I made it in! I will put in my very best to do it!

I guess I had 3 alarm clocks beside me every morning, no matter how late I set the time at. Waking up to many naggings and scoldings... How "nice" was the day to start with huh... Nevertheless, I'm really getting used to it.

We woke up to head out for early breakfast before we started a drive out of Taipei. My mother was the funniest and the blurriest out of the 3 sisters -___- This thing below cost only 30TWD (~S$1), my mum gave the stall owner 300TWD (~S$12) and had a lecture from him... Goshhh, why were we even here for lessons...

Planned a day out of Taipei towards Yilan County...

This picture of a tunnel actually took me 5 minutes to record half of it and I can't even upload the video... So the total journey of the tunnel took the driver to drive for a total of 12 minutes...

We were finally out of the tunnel and the views were really beautiful and I wished I could just remain in the car to appreciate the naturals more than walking and shopping the whole day.

This green onion pancake was recommended by our driver! It was oily, yet it was really crispy and till now, I still miss this pancake!

We were supposed to watch the whales, ended up they were not operating that period... So next alternative was to visit Nanyang Museum. It was also not operating -____-.

Up the mountain, we got to see such view. Even the driver stopped for us since it was a popular spot for the tourists to take pictures there! Tadaaa, a group of adults and a "child" in the group.

Came here for Mr Brown coffee, again we took less than half an hour to drink our coffee. Well, I guess it's definitely better than just the can one sold in SG.

Another place recommended by the driver: To have an ice-cream on a cooling morning... Hahahah.. Well, I'd say this place is optional in your itinerary as it just tasted special and we wouldn't have such special kind of flavours found in SG... Though I can't recall the price paid for the ice-cream, I thought it was really worth for 3 different flavours in a cup.

Seeing that our journey has been altered due to my side, the driver brought us to a park (礁溪温泉公园) where we could soak our legs at. However all of them didn't want. So we only walked and looked around.

Next, he drove us to R. Den Dessert Factory which the products were produced there! I would say, I was on budget for that day and I felt that there's no need to buy them. Who to buy for, (shrug shoulders).

Damnnn, the coffee was seriously 'awesome' and I really couldn't take the bitterness of the coffee, although I could go with Kopi O...

Village Churrasco (窯烤山寨村) was a distance away from the factory and Agrioz Museum. So we were brought to these 2 places.

I was trained from USS Halloween, so... this was not the scariest. Basically, all buns and other products. We even bought cheesecakes from here~

A wishing well with 5 bells, depending on which you wish for it to come true. Apparently, I think mine went out of control...

I love how they decorate the place. It was really appealing for me, especially when flowers are all around!

We always left the place earlier than expected, so the driver had no idea where we should go. In the end, he tried his luck and brought us to Wang-Long Pi. It somehow resembles SG Chinese Garden, HAHAHAH. But damn, we walked a round in total. So you shall see the picture!

Deflated duck found there. It looked like the long lost brother of the inflated duck in Hong Kong!!

Every destination took us left than an hour, so we were brought to many places. Since they wanted the local delights and snacks, the driver brought us here. Guess what...

A poodle in the house! At the call of her name, it came towards...

Me and my dad. Omg, so prettayyyyyyyy, I wanna have one too! So adorable. How can we not love such adorable dogggyyy?!

Last stop: New Taipei's Old Street. I'm sure the adults loved this place quite a lot...

While waiting for them test all the snacks and stuffs, I was really bored and was walking away. It's like FREEEEEDOM. I love roaming alone, nobody'll be there to bother you and tell you what to do.

That's when I finally got myself a cup of bubble milk tea. At the taste of the milk tea, I thought I was in heaven. Gosh, it's no wonder why milk teas are highly raved in Taiwan. (I wanna migrate...)

Test test test. Never buy still test... Tsktsk...

Back at the men's room. So many big and small plastic bags. Oh my. Money drained fast. Hahahahaha.

Took this photo for fun!

This was my favourite part every night and I thought this was the reason why I have gotten on with my weight... Hahahaha, fattening food every night. We went to Shihlin Night Market, thus explained the awesome food there! Don't worry about the portions because we always forgot to take the photos so there's part bitten off... You shall see it yourself!

As for the chicken, I don't see what the rave is about. It was big yes, but was dry and it tasted like normal chicken cutlet lo? Wait, there's another point: CHEAP! Hahahaha... Right, I really didn't have enough and I wanted to get back there for more!

Maybe not for now. Gotta wait till next time. And, I'm trying to come up with next post! So do wait for it (:
