Waking up to the 3 alarm clocks beside sure made me feel like punching myself every morning, whenever I woke up. But I'm glad I did woke up in the end... Had my breakfast at one of this noodle and I thought it really filled my tummy up till noon before we set off to Yehliu Geopark, Wanli district.
Finally reached our destination!
Me and Appa.
Pardon me for the difference in outfits between my dad's and mine.
Tada, it's my mum in her white 'ninja suit'.
She couldn't stand the cold weather, thus she literally suited it up!
The 3 couples of the trip.
I'm still wondering why I was there...
I thought about it and I guess I was the photographer for the trip so yeah I was there for a reason...
My ninja mum and I.
I really thought the weather was pretty much normal for me since I had my 'training' during the trip to Korea. This was just a peanut to me. Hehehehe.
My dad, mum and I.
Well as my lips turned paler and paler, my mum decided that I shall wear it before I fainted there and no one would save me. She was so evil then...
This part was the most horrible part...
I knew my uncle and wife wanted to reminisce the time where they took photo here many years ago...
Yet, I asked all the 3 couples to go up and take the photo together.
Ended up, there were many good citizens reprimanding us about standing on top of the rocks...
Especially the C**** accent.
Gosh, seriously. I swear I saw the same and yet, they got the cheeks to say us...
Buhbyeee to the Geopark...
Next, we headed to Jiufen, Ruifang district.
The weather was superb!
It was really cooling to enjoy the view from the top to the bottom.
Settled down for lunch.
Was grumbling because mama thought I didn't want to eat lunch.
So...
She only ordered for them...
Then, she heard me.
Here's what she ordered for me...
It was fine.
The shop my brother told me to visit, ended up we didn't take a look.
Meow Meow.
A stop over at Golden Waterfall.
Mandatory group photo!
Moving on to Shifen, Pingxi District!
Shifen train station.
Well, here's the most famous must-do at Shifen train station.
Sending wishes to the sky
by
releasing
sky lanterns!
(Seriously, I need more classes for Mandarin! Maybe all of us...)
My god-father and god-mother aka my 2nd uncle and aunt.
My 1st uncle and aunt!
Next, my fam!
Wondering who was taking photo for me?
It was our driver for Day 3 and 4!
He was really fast at taking photos.
The train was approaching...
So...
He snapped...
And snapped...
Finally, we could release our sky lanterns and send our wishes to the sky!
After the whole trip out of Taipei, we were back and rested at our hostel before heading out again.
There I brought them all to the famous Formosa Chang Braised Pork Rice!
I really thought the whole menu was awesome and I wanted to order everything...
The rice was way better than the rest I had eaten so far!
Not to forget about the cutlet...
It was hot and crispy as well!
I told them all not to eat too full as I wanted to bring them over for more food.
We passed by Wufenpu...
Thought it was well-known for its shopping...
But the place looked so empty...
Anyway, it took us less than 10 minutes to get to Raohe Night Market.
Any night markets would be the same.
Despite different sellers, food's always similar.
I know this is going to take me a while to update the remaining days in Taiwan.
Just hold on, be patient and wait for my day 4!
