1st Day - 11th Oct 2015:

The reason for this post is because D and I took off to celebrate our 1st year anni. and his birthday. It might look like a wrong location for this staycation since the nearest thing we could do were to club due to Zouk being nearby. But hey, our staycation was from Sunday-Tuesday so no club ya... Let me tell you that you're wrong, we could still travel to Town, Bugis or anywhere we wanted as there's a bus stop that has buses going these places!

Let me introduce you the hotel that we stayed in! Basically this hotel has weird shops inside, mainly mama shops and massage places! I'd have to admit, I'm not a stranger to this place as my cliques would purchase liquors from those shops before we clubbed...

I forgot to take photos when we went in as we were carrying a lot of things. So I guess later on, you'd get to see it. I have to say their designs are kind of unique since they look like a semi-circle from one part!



Here's our room! Know what, I love to rush in to bed straight as I've to get used to it a few days. Hahaha! (Actually I'm kind of tired and lazy...)

We were heading out for lunch x dinner as we were famished after meeting up and heading straight to the hotel!


Wow, I never tried this before. It was D who introduced me this Fat Boys Burger and really, it was a freaking big portion!!! IT WAS YUMMY!!!

Before heading back, we went to Cold Storage to look for dinner then D introduced me this! YUMMMS~~~


Here's a video on hotel's life hack. Just in case you're wondering what this is, it's about boiling instant noodles in a kettle! Apparently, this has been done by many and we were just trying out... It really worked for us...


Then D and I celebrated our 1st year anni. and played card games while drinking Bottega!


Soaking in a bathtub is a must for me if I ever get to stay in a hotel before sleeping on a comfortable bed! So I was really happy when they offered such features in the room! I went to bed after soaking in the bathtub and drying my hair...


2nd Day - 12th Oct 2015:

Right, we woke up early in the morning and felt hungry so we ordered MacBreakfast and yesyes, we fell back to sleep before noon time! I guess we are really alike that's why we are together. Hehehe!

So yes, we headed to Bugis for our lunch. Honestly, we were happy that there's bus heading to town or even Bugis! We had ramen from one of Ramen Champion's stall Buta God. Damn, it was nice but yet too filling and I couldn't finish it...




We went to play Darius' favourite hobby and interest, Darts at Bugis+ and I thought since he liked it, we could go have some rounds. After that, we headed to town for "Yuan Yang" steamboat. Well, it wasn't that fantastic and the ginseng chicken was average while the mala... Speechless...


Since both of us were tired, we went back to our room. But hey, who's tired when there's a bottle of red wine awaiting us from Day1?! Wolf Blass Eaglehawk chosen by Darius! While watching tv shows, we played card and enjoyed cups of wine... Oh well, this wine is daebakkk!


3rd Day - 13th Oct 2015:

It was time to check out and I was really lifeless moving out of the room since I enjoyed his company as always... Well, we missed our bus back to town when the driver decided to ck-eye us and move on... One of the ladies who wanted to get up the same bus, wanted to complain him...


Once we reached Upper Thomson, we had the prata and murtabak at Casuarina Curry Restuarant! Well, we should get a membership for life...


We had to part ways that day and of course we met up the next day for his official birthday celebration! Here's a sneak into what I had treated him to (well, I know it's not that much but hey, it's the thought that matters right?!)


It's the all day menu from Assembly Ground at the Cathay! I thought the portion was really good and I kind of like the truffle fries! Well, the total cost burned a hole in my pocket that day though. And luckily he enjoyed it! We might head back to have a meal again!
