24th May 2015: 2D1N Staycation in Genting Hotel Jurong
This was an invitation from Boss as to celebrate current workplace's 10th Year Anniversary and as well as for Rahim since he couldn't leave the country. I really appreciated Boss' invitation for this chance to get a staycation with D. too! Well there're many of us but only a few of us stayed together throughout. (e.g. Diana, Huimin, Huatai, Dila, Rahim, Henry, Henry's wife and son.)

D. came to my workplace to meetup with us and as usual, clash of clans cliques got to know each other well... Okaycan... Anyways, sorry for the unclear photo but these were the cards we've gotten from Boss!

D., Huimin and I took Henry car with his wife and son to the hotel and there we were at the lobby after we reached the place.

Most of us were on the same level so we could meet up quite easily.

And so yes, this was our room! You could see that the room's not that spacious and apparently you can't place any luggage there! Maybe you could try but... Oh well I still find that it's hard though.

The shower place's fine for me and it was clean to me. Just that the shower was not that strong for me when I usually like it to be stronger.

And the space for the business was also fine for me. It was clean too! Overall you could imagine the size of the toilet too (:

The view from the room was great since we're near to the Mrt station and Jcube + Library. Hahahaha!

I only took these 2 photos when we headed out for dinner with the rest and sorry that the second was not of any help to show how big it is since I could only take like that.

Thankfully when there's muslim food, there's also Mookata for those who preferred to this. I gave in to this even though the muslim was also tempting x:

Then we walked to Chevrons to play bowling. As the time was tickling fast, Henry and his family were already there while most of us reached like 11.15pm and we're only left like 45mins for a game before they closed at 12am.

When we're done with bowling, I took these photos in the car just at the junction.

And so the hotel's carpark's so awesome okay!

Look at the difference at this photo and the next one. I'm sure you'll get what I mean!

The car had shifted from its original position! The hotel actually installs such carpark so that they could allow more cars to be parked!

The corridor of the hotel near our rooms! And Willy was waiting for Diana to open up the door. Heheheh.

I could only take the photo at this angle since the pool was close at that timing and yeah, this' the size of the pool...

This was taken at level 2 and we were "burning our midnight oils" there. Hahahaha!

The view from the 2nd level was just... meh. There's nothing there to see except the stars in the sky!

The hotel also has gym facilities where you could spend a day there if you want to!

This photo was taken after we checked out the next day and yup, the food was so expensive (e.g. Tom Yum Instant Noodle costs $3 where I could easily get it from NTUC at $1.50 for that brand.)

Then Rahim, Huimin, D. and I headed back to the same coffee shop for our lunch. Hehehe, this time round D. and I got ourselves a Mutton Briyani! It was good and yummy but just a little... spicy! Anyways, thats all about the staycation!

Here's a personal rating for this hotel:
Location - 5/5 (Near to MRT/Malls/Convenience Stores/Taxi Stands)
Sleep - 3.5/5 (The bed was comfortable, but I fell when the frame just collapsed to my side when I put too much weight on one side of it as the bed was only supported with 4 legs at the bottom of the frame)
Room - 3/5 (Just nice for D. and I, but travelers need to find ways to place their luggages...)
Service - No Idea (No room service needed)
Value - 2/5 (For a price of $150/+ a night on their own website, I'd say it's rather overpriced though...)
Cleanliness - 5/5 (I love how the rooms are so well-maintained as I'm a really clean freak.)
