It was my off day and I didn't get to see D. so I met up with Willy and her boyfriend. We had decided to meet up to visit museums and we went to Singapore Art Museum (located at 71 Bras Basah Road, 189555).
As they allow free entry for Singaporeans and PRs to the museum, we were able to escape from paying SGD10 to get in.
But of course, I didn't take as many photos as I used to since I prefer to look at them rather than spend my time taking photos now.
These two arts were one of those I like most and felt that there were some deep meanings. But of course, the second art was to show tribute to Mr LKY.
One of the parts, we had the chance to do something to beautify the corridor of a house using the stickers they provided. The three of us were stuck at the room for so long...
We stopped by a pillar and they asked this. Hahaha, we even played the words there. I guessed we're too bored.
Days before, I heard about the exhibitions on Mr LKY so we headed to National Museum of Singapore to take a look.
It was a short exhibition showing all the great things he had done for us and Singapore.
Then we went to the basement to continue with other exhibitions. There's this exhibition on the Japanese occupation. It was a moment of reliving the past stories...
Then I came across to our other versions of pledges that we could have recited since 1965.
After the museums, we were famished from the walking so we had Ssikkek for dinner which I was really full from the meats :) (Few days later, I started to have cough due to the heaty food...)
Till then, hopefully there will be more posts coming out! Please stay tuned for more!Labels: Museums
