22nd-27th November 2014: Hong Kong Trip (2) Day 1
Day 0 / Day 1 - 21st November / 22nd November 2014.

The day before 21st November, I met up with le love and he stayed with me till next morning to pack my luggage before I headed to office with the damn burden. Thankfully he was there with me till I started work.

Again Jane, Willy Momo and I were working on that day. This time round, I planned for this Hong Kong trip (I wouldn't say it's a bad plan as the protest and stuffs ruined my plan.). And thanks Mr HC for sending us three to the airport with Willy's bf. Since our work ended at 9.30pm, we were at the airport from 10.30pm till our flight 1.55am.

Worrying that I might not sleep in the plane, I got myself a Sudoku book to do. It was really addictive for me as I love such challenging questions to solve.

When we finally boarded the plane to Hong Kong, I tried to sleep but oh well, still not enough sleep.
Once we reached Hong Kong airport, we took a bus from there to our hotel. However the bus stops were so close to each other that we missed the one we needed to alight at and as usual, I'm not a map person. We hadn't got our data card so I couldn't use my Google map and thus Diana (expert in using the map) led us back to hotel. I felt really lost and bad at that time as they were looking upon my lead and somehow I failed to do it... (Never mind, it's over!)

As we were supposed to head to Lantau Island, they were all exhausted from the flight and walking so we decided to forgo it and had our brunch at the nearest Cha Chan Teng (Tea Restaurant) after putting our luggages at the hotel (Cityview hotel, nearest to Yau Ma Tei Mtr stn A2) since the check in time was 2pm. (Why didn't I have my meals here in my previous trip ):) It was super filling yet worth it!!!

Then we went to the street for a walk and tada, we saw this! The protest site on the Mongkok street. Please do not think this was a big protest site as the bigger one was at Central area.

As we moved on, we split up (Willy, Diana, Jane and me) as the rest was lady boss and boss' family members. After walking to the Ladies Street, we found out they weren't operating like they were supposed to based on my experience, we decided to head for desserts at Hui Lau Shan (the excuse for resting and sitting). As they were famous with mangoes as their main ingredients, we had ordered a set that consisted mostly mangoes. Hahaha!

After resting long enough, we walked back to our hotel but still it was early like 1pm? We were still unable to check so we sat at the lobby and I dozed off while waiting. Luckily the rooms were ready at 1.30pm so we could head up for a nap. We agreed to meet up at 7pm so I slept till 5pm and thought I should do a food hunt for them and I went all the way till Temple Street. On the way, I saw one of the places had this! And lady boss asked them if they were alright with this and yes this was our dinner! Overall, I would prefer the BBQ Pork Belly as the duck/chicken/pork rice stalls in Singapore no longer have the meat anymore. So saddening!

As we had our fills, we split up again and walked aimlessly. Since there wasn't any plans we got to walk and walk and walk till we got tired and went back to hotel.

But Willy and I decided to go to Lan Kwai Fong to take a look as we were curious about the place after we got ourselves a Milk Tea each and couldn't watch Interstellar. It was really pricey and expensive around 20 SGD for a movie ticket at Midnight. No kid okay!

Upon reaching Lan Kwai Fong, the crowd was really crazy over there and the fear instantly came to me like what if there were drunkards heading towards me and swearing Cantonese words at me? But of course I didn't think about it. So the two of us felt like it wasn't the place for us so we left the place by cab. However there were many road blocks due to the protest and I totally regretted to go Central at the wrong hours. But the cab fare was cheap so Willy was alright with it.

I swear that I'm gonna talk lesser about this trip as I didn't take much photographs during this trip. Forgive me but if there's interesting facts or things I could remember in this trip, I'd definitely say it!
